4 th annual boo fest

Im going to try for Friday to help set up. I want to get there and get out before the Sodomites arrive

Henry John Deutschendorf Jr., i loved that guy. i believe he was RCA's number 1 selling act of the 1970's. Thank God I'm a Country Boy, Colorado Rocky Mtn. High, Country Roads, Annies song, Poems and Prayers and Promises, Back Home Again, and my own fav, Matthew. If you found him a little weird maybe it is because he was born in Roswell, New Mexico.

Saw him live the first time back in the mid 70s (MSG) and met him in person while skiing at Snowmass in CO back in the late 70s. Was a fan right up until he forgot to fill the fuel tank in his experimental plane some years back now...

.......Time to sober up & join the real world! Back from the Ronbo Lodge after three days of boo. We had a great turnout for the 25th anniversary of Ron's 25th Birthday. The weather did not cooperate for first two, but that did not hinder the good times had by all. Rain might have kept some away - but quite a few of those of attending the Wingless Flies presentation @ CCFCM, The Mayfly Club Fly Tying Extravaganza at The Riverside Cafe in Horton and the 9th annual Trout parade trickled in.

.......I could not make it to any of those events due to preparations needed for our evening Gala. Ole' number 47 "Wiber" was our star guest. He started the first night with a dead sea deep body massage and put off to to sleep for the night at Hotel Coleman. When he awoke rested the next morning it was time for his 8 hour 225 degree sauna. While he did his laps @ 2 RPM's quite a few of the guests headed off to various rivers & streams, reports drizzled in of a favorable day with overcast skies. Later that evening Wilber was paired with a bussel of garlicky Ale steamed littlenecks with Frost E Breeze hot sauce, fire roasted corn, 10 alarm chili, sausage & peppers and various other salads.

.........Wilber even managed to cozy up to the bar (built the day before) that evening for a night cap of local corn whiskey, bourbon's, Redneck Martini's, & shots of 190 proof Everclear. On tap we had delicious home brewed Dark Belgian thanks to Brandywine along with Frost E Breeze Light Mexican ale & Brown ale with an assortment of other fine brew's by the case's. We finished the night casting under the lights of Boo stadium. Next morning Zobies arose from their final resting place weather it be on the floor, couch, campers or tents to feast on Kurt's morning breakfast accompanied by a tall red solo cup of Bloody Mary's
.......Thanks again to Ron's & Kurt's hospitality that made this all happen again for the fourth straight year. Pictures to follow after careful editing

...and yes I heard Beetle did make an appearance on Sunday for 2 hours while most where out fishing. I think he even bought a present for Simms who couldn't make it. When I returned back he had gone and all that was left was a dollar on the table.

Although it was a brief stint, it was good to catch up with you guys. I was there, but only from 1am to 6am on Saturday...so if you thought you just had some f-ed up dream, no worries the philthmaster was actually there...

I left my camo cooler bag there as well...I hope somebody drank the beer if you're not too good for PBR. My pontoon boat is very fond of that cooler, and doesn't like to float without...any chance somebody might've picked it up?
