Very nice rod you posted. I wanted to meet you in Cranford but was unable to make it. I live in Hopatcong so it would have been a short drive.
I build my own bamboo rods from blanks that makers are willing to sell me. I am hooked on the Granger tapers and love the 7633's the best so far. I buy the ferruled blanks from a maker in Colorado but would like to do buisness with a maker in the NE if I could find one. Do you make the granger tapered rods and would you just make ferruled blanks for customers? Take a look at some of my work in my profile albums if you like. Some day I want to make my own blanks when I move and have a place to set up a shop, thats my dream right now.

An 8 footer might just be what I need, and I could probably swing some deal for 2011. But I just gotta be honest and tell you that 2011 would be earliest, as I'm a teacher and the income is just terribly tight right now.

I already am making deposits on another bamboo rod. I am such an admirer of people like you and your craft!
