Just got word people Salmon are in 30 feet of water right now! AND TONS OF THEM!

By this weekend, a slong as the nights stay cool and they keep getting a little rain, there WILL be fish staging in the estuary. If the water release stays on as scheduled for Labor Day, it wouldn't be a bad idea to head up

Beetle, I encourage you to show your face at the bash! Make sure you leave a picture behind of what your face looks like for your wife and son..they wont recognize you when you get back. Then again, that face is one only a mother could love, and remembered by all. Who cares. I'll be fishing the some where in Western NC or Eastern TN labor day weekend. I hope there is a lot of rain at the end of September after I leave. This way we can go crush fish on the lake when I am in New York the last two weeks of September. Plus, if the water stays low that just means a certain place out west should fish very nicely for chrome.
