wanna be fly fisher.
The rivers sure are looking really good for this weekend. If you can get out, get out! I'm talking Catskill region of course.
The water temps should be perfect tomorrow. Hopefully it will be partly cloudy like the weather calls.
Plan on fishing fly's from size 18 down to 26. Sulphers / BWO / Caddis / Midges / Ants and other Terrestrials should all do the trick. Fish along the shaddy banks for possibly 16" hookups.
Last Saturday I planted my feet in the Beaverkill for 12 straight hours of fishing and had a blast. It was the perfect day for fishing. The water temps were perfect, the river was perfect, the wind was at a minimum, and it was a beautifull day. I'm guessing tomorrow should result in the same for floating the Delaware with HydeLowRyder. The Mainstem appears to be perfect right now for summer conditions.
