    Catskill caddis help

I'm headed up to Roscoe next week. In checking out the reports they list the many varieties of mayflies but only say "caddis". What caddis, color and size would be best? This will be my first time fishing the area. Thanks. Leadhead

    Musky 10-28

Nice day at the TCA. A good brown and two heavy bows. Black buggers and BHGRHE fooled them. Find the faster water. The leaves are a killer in the slow water, making a smooth drift almost impossible. Quite a few others fishing there also. Nice weather will do that. Will have to explore more when...

    Goose attack

While fishing the Musky today I got attacked by a crazed goose. I must have gotten too close to a nest and the next thing I see is this goose fly down the river aiming right at me. He knocked me into the river and kept comming after me. Damn bird wouldn't let me get to the bank. I had to shuffle...

    Bfb 11-2

Got to the bfb at about 8:30. Started out below the lot off 560 about 1/4 mile below big pool(Werners?). Water was 42. Worked down stream and tried just about everything. Nothing. Decided to give the pool a shot on my way out if it wasn't too crowded. Only two guys. One had a spin rod...

    BFB flyfish only

Was at the Big Flatbrook, three bridges area on wends. I thought this was fly only, but saw a spin-fisher and the garbage that goes w/ the bait-fishers. I fished there alot last season and thought I saw "fly only" signs and never saw anyone other than a flyfisher. Did this change or was I...
