Macfly, I always appreciate your posts and point of view and in this instance it is no different. But, I offer no apology for any term in which i use to describe Barrack Hussein Obama, he is a socialist who has disgraced the office in which he holds far more than any unfavorable term than I can use.

Sorry Trouser Trout but when you devolve into calling the president the term you used I cant agree with it. Now I am no fan of our president's policies but I am not going to say its ok to denigrate the office or the person holding the office. I didnt like it when folks resorted to it with President Bush and I didnt like it when they when after President Clinton. In the context of what our current president has faced, I dont see him as a disgrace. I believe his fiscal policies are not right for our country and I believe his foreign policies are dangerous. Furthermore I dont believe America should be going around and making apologies for our actions but at some point someone is going to have to win the battle of ideas if we really want to compete with the current administrations point of view. Anytime you resort to personal and derogatory remarks like this you have no way of winning that battle because people will just assume you are motivated by some personal prejudice. You may not have any prejudice at all but your remarks will be taken as such.
All you have to do is look at how people are trying to encapsulate the Tea Party movement as a bunch of ignorant redneck racists because of the signs and statements of a few people. The country is in sad shape and we have both parties and to some extent ourselves to blame. We need at some point to put all that aside and figure out how to rescue our future. One man's opinion anyway.
