All I ever use is a nail! I've also done the nail knot using my forceps.

Yo kyle, do you have any knot-tying tools? Been looking for a decent one, kinda inexpensive....I hate trying to tie nail knots in winter!

Maybe the bass are a better idea. The boat oil and goose shit are a lot harder to get off of a fly line!
