Shannon's is at 75 Main Street in Califon, NJ. Not exactly down the road from CT, but much closer to Milford, PA. If coming from Milford, take rt. 206 south to Flanders, then a right onto Bartley Road and make a right from Bartley onto rt. 513 in Long Valley and follow 513 south to Califon. Make a left at the liquor store across from the Exxon station and follow into town, over the bridge (over the South Branch Raritan) and the shop will be 15 yards on your left. Sounds easy, but there's more of a ride than it sounds. Is there anything particular you are looking for? I guide for the shop and give them a hand running the store once in awhile when they are short staffed and I can find a day I would otherwise have off.

I don't like buying online for feathers myself. Like you, I want to see them first. Shannon's like so many other shops gets hit up by the craze by the hairdressers for our tying feathers. So I don't know what is in stock or what is on order, but the shop does seem to have ample supplies.

Brk Trt, after you go to Shannon's web site, you can get their gmail address. I sent them an email asking about having hen saddle patches in stock Jim got back to me in a couple hours with an answer. They're good that way IMHO.

I can't think of one, but Dunkelburger's is closer which is in Stroudsburg.

i did not say IN milford I said closer to Milford than driving all that way doing 40 mph to look a hackle. There is A&G in Dickson City, AA in Blakeslee, Heck, why not drive up 97 to hancock, You have West Branch and Upper Delaware. When I lived in Milford I could make it to the Beaverkill in about an hour and 10 min. you have four shops right there.
