Stocked streams reopen, others revert to their normal regulations - April 11 @ 8:00 AM

I have avoided opening day for a great number of years. Too many crowds. I'll head to a WTS instead. Fishing isn't about numbers or size.

i remember driving up to SaxtonFalls w/ Dad (after a late breakfast and several hours of bumping elbows) to watch 30-40 guys trying corall the fish in shin-deep water at the base of the falls. the old photos aren't that old! some were using jetty sticks w/ 2oz pyramid sinkers. now that i actually live nearby i think i'll swing by and reminicse....

Does anyone know Sylvin Lake in Burlington Nj, if you do, when is open season for THAT lake?

If you mean Sylvan Lake, It's closed from March 23 to 8:00 AM April 11th. After that the general regulations apply with no in-season closings.
