bwo
A kid's attempt at saying "bro" with a speech impediment. Instead of "bro" it sounds like he is saying "bwo."
Daaaang bwo! He got over on you!

Streamers or nymphs?
Top secret midge? Is that an actual fly or is it one of your special flies u created?
I fished the lower part of the Gorge last weekend and caught some stockies on an egg (yellow/salmon Blood Dot) and streamer (black wooly bugger) tandem rig fished deep. The water was high and off color. I think it has come down a little since. In lower clearer water, I've had success with scuds, zebra midges and rainbow warriors in the winter. FYI, since the storm a couple of months ago washed out the road, you can only park at either end of the Gorge and have to walk in. Because there are only 4 or 5 parking spots in northern lot (even fewer when some big SUV parks diagonally), unless you get there early, I would head to the lower lot. It's a pretty long frustrating drive around from the upper lot to the lower lot.

First, My flies i create are actual flies. lol. The top secret midge was created by Pat Dorsey of Colorado. He is guide and legend out that way. If you nymphing for rainbows, Pats flies wont do you wrong as this is his main quarry out west. But the top secret midge works great on wild and stocked trout. Its super simple and its certainly deadly.
Flies are relatively unimportant, especially in pocket water like the Gorge. Go low and slow and use small flies this time of year to best imitate the available foods the trout are feeding on. Small pheasant tails or RS2s or small caddis pupa can't go wrong.
How to get to lower end? I have always parked in the lot near Hoffman crossing bridge. I have driven down the dirt road to the lot near the little handicap fishing pier but that's the only way I know to go
Ok I understand now. I actually found it on the maps on my iPad. If both lots are full where else around that area could I do. I don't live in nj and the gorge is the only place I have done any fly fishing there
