Love those colors, a palmer body on that baby would make a killer caddis wet fly. Could be worth a try :cool:

Great looking fly. I have been tying for over 35 years and have only used the peacock eyes and swords. Which feather is used for this fly?

Pat these feathers Allen used for the wing are the primary flight feathers of a male peacock. They are the outside of the wing and are used for lift if the Peacock decides to go air born.
They are pretty stout and can also be used for biot bodied Dry Fly's.
Not cheap if you can find then in a Flyshop, about $7 to $10 for a matching pair.
 
Thank you ROLLCAST86 and edrandall I'm glad you like this fly the wing is a natural cinnimon color feather from a male peacock and works very well with the green floss body. I'm working on a few more here and will get them up as I finish them.
