Wulff TT?

Have RIO fly lines on almost all of my rods except my saltwater as SciAnglers is by far my favorite esp for tarpon and bonefish. Anyway after hearing all this rave about Wulff Triangle Taper line I am thinking about giving it a try on my 3 weight St.Croix imperial series rod. Anyone have any experience on how it throws on this rod?

I have a 3 wt T&T and the line is great, easy roll cast ..just ordered a new one yesterday.Old one worn out. KRONK

This line should load up great with that rod.

Since you've now made yourself the "loading" expert...

I have a rod that is stated to be a 5-6 weight, that I normally string up with a 6 weight line because it seems to load the rod better. Would I find that a 6weight wulff tt would give the same results?

Thanks in advance!

I think I'd try the 5wt TT on that rod.

I'd offer to let you try one out but you don't like to meet up in person unless you're doing the Alpaca thing or cleaning up the side of a river.

I have an Avid 5wt. that I'm still searching for a line for. I really like the SA Mastery trout series but the just seem flat on the St. Croix. Anyone have an Avid rod with a good matching line?

Just wondering... What size is the butt end of your leader?
