That's a great price for the Orvis Mirage reel. I have 4 of them and think they are the best bang for the buck out there. I use my IV for both salmon and steelhead and used it in the salt in late October. It is a great reel and has a no maintenance, sealed drag that can stop any fish your 8wt rod can handle.

Good luck selling your gear, your prices are very fair.

I almost have enough Orvis bucks/gift cards to purchase that exact 8wt access rod, why are you selling?

I boght it as a backup for Alaska and Andos. Figured it would work well for silvers and bonefish. My go to rod for both is a Loomis GLX 8 weight 4 pc. I use a 10'Loomis GLX 7 weight for the trout out in Alaska. I too like the Mirage reel a lot. For the price point, it's tough to beat. You cant beat the sealed drag especially when on the sand or mud out in Alaska. The last thing you need out there are equipment problems.
