Project healing waters donations - HELP A DISABLED VETERAN TODAY.

So far I've received 2 generous packages (Tomfly and WBDLuver). Come on people, this is going to Disabled VETERANS.

I'll be ordering a bunch of stuff. Hatch hats, SIMMS t-shirts, Wulff Fly Lines, ALL BEING DONATED. If you have something to donate, send it over. I already have the SIMMS Shirts in hand.

This is just not a contest to win a fly line or who ties the best flies. This for our wounded troops, our mothers, daughters and wives. Pony up people lets show the fly fishing community why NEFF is the best and that we will stand up and do what is needed.

I waited by my mailbox yesterday, and nothing? ohh well maybe today. I have stripped off my old line and threw it away as Im sure my new one will be here shortly

Just wait a few more days, i will save my old line, it's still like new, and will send it to you. Better yet, i can hand deliver it and will allow you to put my new line and backing on my reel when you guide me on the Lacky. And, don't forget to pack me a nice lunch, beers and a quality cigar.

I am more than sure...the fly line in question, is on its way to healing waters along with my generous donation of time and flies that represent NEFF's attention to quality, detail, and commitment to our fellow man...so you boobs can stop fighting over it....I have, with no question, hand's down, sent the most perfect flies and, I am the winner!:judge::victory:

My flies weren't that perfect...anyway when I asked he was busy, and had enough lines, so he couldn't be bought....what an honorable fellow....

I got Grobert to do it.....

Now that we all know where DC lives, we should stage a sit in on his front lawn. We can call it Occupy Cabarle’s Front lawn. Set up a small tent city come up with some bogus protest to obtain Government handouts.

I read this first post and because it has been a very long time since I have tied anything I just assumed I would not enter the contest. I will send some flies and my $2.

Ollie..I am doing a benefit to assist women who are abused at The Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange next month...The "Beer Meister" from Climax will be there, he is every year...I will send your regards...He is a very "interesting" fellow....:beer1::beer:

Should I take a picture of what's being sent so far?

here's the deal. Seems that everyone is in favor of sending the winning fly line to the vets. If you participated and agree (yeah, like someone's really going to disagree)... Maybe we should change the title of the thread.

So far, I've received donations from 4 people. I'm hoping TT's check doesn't bounce. Anyway, Should I wait for more?

Please let me know, I was going to send this out tomorrow afternoon but I can delay it another few days if need be.

Pipe down you boob. That flyline is wasted on you anyway. You can only cast about 20 feet....with the wind at your back.
 
My fly tying skills are pathetic. Wounded vets dont need my shitty flies. I'll swing by ramsey outdoors tomorrow and buy something they can actually use. Whats the deadline here?

I can get to the post office with flies on Saturday, so they should probably get to you by Tuesday. I'll PM you as soon as they're in the mail.
 
Yea, I'm planning on sending my check and a couple flies out today. Sorry I was away for a long weekend. Check payable to healing waters or to you Dennis? Or is cash just easier?

And I'd be less worried about TT's check bouncing and more worried about his mail containing Ricin - that third grade postcard/hand writing was extremely suspicious if you ask me
