Trout Fever is sorely missed around here.

His posts always included pictures of flies he had tied.

Which were always good for a laugh, and then a long commentary by Andy B on the brotherhood of fly tyers.

Those were good days, when sincere tyers posted pics of their creations, in exchange for constructive criticism from the fraternal order of fly tyers on neff, and Beetle.

I don't know what happened with TF but Andy B., last I heard was retiring from his profession.

Forget that guy. As Beetle pointed out, the guy's flies all look the same and you can tell immediately that he's the type of dude that likes hanging out with a bunch of jungle cock in his basement and never actually fishes the fruity creations he makes down there.

It is easy to rip on members to choose not to participate on the site anymore. It must make you feel like a big man. So what if his flies are somewhat of the same style of tying. What I don’t get is, why you need to bring this crap up to begin with. It is not like the guy is actively taking jabs at you. So what gives? Sounds like you have some inferiority issues to deal with.

For one, I miss Trout fever.....and Andy B. tied really nice flies...in fact he could tie other flies as well...I remember a Quill Gordon he posted to help me learn how to tie it...I can't find the picture, or the thread, but it was really nice.....and the wet flies are pretty, they catch fish also.....I only met him once...seemed nice, and was generous with his knowledge, and had really big glasses....maybe fly14 was joking.....

You assume wrong. I was just conveying that is pretty lame to take jabs at someone who is not here anymore. I find it humorous that Andy rents free space in your head. You must be thinking about him more then you want to admit.
