Wading Boots

do you homewaters a favor and pick the ones without felt soles. I have been fishing for a year with rubber w/cleat soles and love them.

I'm a big Korkers fan! You may want to check them out. The interchangeable soles are really nice, good arch support, and they have held up well over a couple of years now.

Do a site search, and you will find some other threads on this topic with some good insights.

Q.T.

I don't have any experience with the models you've listed but I have nothing but good things to say about my Patagonia Riverwalkers with Sticky Rubber Soles. Great support, comfortable hiking, good grip in the water (if you fish rivers with slimy rocks you should probably get metal studs) and not too heavy.

I've had the Clearwater rubber studded for about 18 months now. They are lightweight, comfortable, easy off & on and have held up well. Thought I would miss the felts for stability on the rocks, not an issue at all...

Thanks for all your feedback guys. Here is the latest status on my boots:
Orvis - "7 of 15 (47%) customers would recommend this product to a friend." source orvis.com. The 47% says everything about the boots (I like the boots but not the quality).
Cloudveil 8x Grippy Rubber Boot - the soles are not super sticky and they don't come with studs.
Chota “STL” PLUS [WW350] - I'm going tomorrow to look at them.

I have foot size 12 so my selection is bit limited this time of year. I had no idea that finding the right boots will be so hard.
