It was a line used by Lloyd Benson against Dan Quayle during the 1988 VP debate. Quayle when asked about his age compaired himself to JFK, which prompted the line from Benson, Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy, I knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy. By far the most memorable line of the 1988 campaign. Benson was Michael Dukakis running mate and lost to Bush 41 in a landslide. Remember the picture and video of Dukakis in the tank?

First of all THANK YOU for your THANK YOU to me.
Lost in America today is the common courtesy displayed to one and other, and I thank you for helping me bring it back. So thank you for that again.
Secondly when it comes to not only NEFF but the entire world, I am GOD, and thank you for trying to be me, you are not, so thank you for that.
So please stop trying to be like MacFoole and taking credit for what other's have done, thank you.
I was the first to proclaim myself being GOD on NEFF and I would like for you to stop claiming my title, thank you.
For the past twelve years that I have been on NEFF I have lead many discussions, and I have always been courteous and respectful to all. That is because I am GOD. Never asking for or receiving an official thank you from NEFF for my efforts. But thank you anyway.
Lastly I would like to thank my flock, for without you I would be nothing more than say a lowly school teacher or something like that, but not as low as an unemployable hammerhead thank you, and thank me (GOD).
Again, thank you for the very kind and belated thank you, for a simple thank you every now and then will go a long way.
Lastly (again) I would like to thank all of you for reading all 10,243 of my posts.

Those series were great, when the Yankees blew game 4 in 2004 I knew it was going to be disaster, why Torre didn't make schilling field a few bunts early on the wet grass and a bum ankle was the biggest mistake of Torre's managerial career.
