Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas from the beetle

Even mac.

Trouser trout is another close call, but I wish him the best.

Rusty spinner, well, he's a bit of a nerdy knucklehead, but merry Christmas to him too.

Who else? Ak? I wish him a few hours of mother fuckin therapy, but I do wish him well for Christmas and it would be rude to be insulting to any of these jackasses at this holy time of year.

Merry Christmas to all and I hope Santa brings everything that all has asked for.

Sincerely
Andy Brasko

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2011, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference.

Tomorrow, after our Festivus dinner, is the "Airing of Grievances"...

Some of you guys will feature prominently... ;)

that was to political tt .... welcome to america

Well i know that at times I can be abrasive, opinionated, and also a little rough around the edges, so i simply wished to send along a holiday greeting that in no way could be construed as racially, ethnicly or religeously offensive. It is important that we not offend our fellow man while expressing our own religeous beliefs by not being sympathetic toward theirs.

my Festivus pole...

Life must be tough living in a crater where the only evening entertainment is an
aluminum pole smack dab in the center of your livingroom.

I don't want to even think about you hanging naked upside down from that pole.

Then again, Rex Ryan and his fetish is also in the news today.

I bet you even tell the neighbours that you only use it to get into shape.

Broadheadscreek was handing out thank yous for useful posts, but some how he over looked this one.

Anyway....

GB, I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

Well, I don't even want to think about YOU THINKING about not wanting to think about me hanging naked from an aluminum pole.... So much for that, though.

Jeez, you're creepy sometimes

I'll just have to add this to my list during the Airing of Grievances...

Hmmmm. :) Who's going to go first. We can turn this Merry Christmas thread into a festivus thread but then it would be just like every other thread!

Festivus is a holiday we can ALL celebrate every day. It's MORE than a holiday, it's a way of life...(well, except for the Feats of Strength...) Isn't it great to have a REASON to air one's grievances?

simply a classic..... truth be told I learned to love the show.....but for years i wouldn't watch it because with a name like seinfeld i figured it would be overwhelmingly annoyingly jewish, i was wrong. brings me to another good topic for a winter thread. 5 favorite tv shows and why.......

I was the same way. I didn't start watching it for years but then instantly fell in love with it.

1. Curb Your Enthusiam - What more can I say.
2. Boardwalk Empire - My opinion, best mafia show on TV right now then again, I think it's the only one. :)
3. Man vs. Wild - anyone who drinks his own piss to survive, drinks elephant crap just to get a little extra water, makes bug squash pancakes and eats them raw, bites the heads off snakes then eats them, wrestles crocodiles for the meat, jumps out of helicopters into shark infested waters, ...well you get the picture deserves to be watched.
4. Judge Judy - Tells it like it is whether you like it or not. "Did you think you were coming here for a picnic?" "Umm is not an answer"
5. All In the Familiy - The best sitcom ever, Meathead.

I don't watch alot of TV but when I do, these are the shows you'll probably catch me watching 99% of my TV time.

...and thanks for hijacking the thread with this BS.
