Hiring a Chinese nanny

This is not a joke thread.

My wife and I are expecting our first child in July.

We plan on hiring a Chinese nanny, who speaks only Chinese.

The idea is to teach the child Chinese, from birth.

What do you guys think?

China is now the second superpower. Keep that in mind!

Sounds like an awesome idea. It will certainly make your kid's life easier after we adopt Mandarin as our official language.

i see the though.... kieth urbans daught who is all most 2 speaks english and spanish... chinese? dont know it thats the language is needed

all though not saying your wrong or anything but you will have to learn it also and under stand it.....

Interesting idea but how do you plan on communicating with the nanny if she only speaks Chinese?

Ah yes the classic overthinking when having your first child. That liilte kid is going to have all he can handle dealing with you as a parent, he most certainly doesn't need some annoying chink yapping at him all day.

I do agree with you that I will be a handful...

But come on, what's wrong with a Chinese nanny?

Gb i was thinking if you hire the chinese nanny. They tend to mix up "l" and "r"

things might go a bit like this....

English: Golden beetle

chinese: Gorden beetre
