Some of you may have had or may be having issues with this site. For example, after logging in, you go to post a message then it asks you to log in again, or tells you that you are not a member. Raise your hand if you're having this problem.

The other day I was futzing around with my system and ran into the exact problem that some of you have mentioned. I went crazy looking for the issue, even comparing the settings from my laptop to my desktop only to find that they were the same. Then I noticed this little red thing on the bottom of my browser (See the photo attached with this message). Before continueing, make sure this is the only instance of IE opened on your system. If you doubleclick that little red dot, a screen will come up showing you that the cookies for this site are blocked.

Now for the fun part. All you've got to do is right click on anything that contains, "NJFlyfishing.com" and click "Always accept cookies from this site". Then, close down all instances of IE and open them back up.

I hope this resolves some of the issues some of you may have been or may presently be running into.

Thanks Dennis. That worked great for me. I had that problem with showing up as Unregistered.

Glad this thread helped a few of you.

Chris, I wouldn't worry about the scoreboard thing. As long as you don't have to re-logon with ever mouse click you make on this site, you should be ok. If you are having issues still, check out the FAQ on this site. It should help you remove your cookies.

Willow, I actually did start working on the Chat again. There are some issues with the server I'm trying to connect to and some scripts being run to set cookies. I could easily get a chat software to work here, but I like this one because it allows me to display the nice photo in the background and a few other things too.
