for those in want - there is a huge sale at Albright Tackle | Fly Rods | Fly Reels | Spin and Casting Rods | Reels | Rods. I just got a pair of breathable backup waders for 40 bucks.
I just got a pair of breathable backup waders for 40 bucks.
Glad to hear the waderes are good enough as back ups they will be my primary waders after my orvis waders leaked and the cost 7 times as much i am going to go postal with those mofos very very soon and they were only 5 mnths old.I got my Trinity Waders on Thursday and broke them in on Sunday. Very impressed with them, quality seems to be very good. A bit heavier than my Simms L2's, but that is ok for winter fly fishing. Glad to have some backup's for only $40....
I did some research why Albright is selling so "inexpensively"... seems that they are discontinuing to sell to retail and will sell from warehouse to consumer directly (cutting out the middle man) as well as clearing some of their inventory for new 2009 product. They will continue to offer special deals and if you are on their email notification list, you will get an email.
Disclaimer: I do NOT get a kickback, I learned of their deals through a Colorado based fly fishing forum and thought I would share it with my friends from "back East".

I have that rod in a 9 ft 6 wt and just took it out of mothballs yesterday. I had forgotten how much I liked it.
