Wild Brown's and Rainbows

Me and my buddy took a nice little fishing trip this weekend to fish some incretible pieces of water for some wild trout. The hatches were super and the fish as beautiful as you can imagine. The amount of bugs was insane here are some pics enjoy. BTW WHO EVER SAY TRICO MIKE DOESNT CATCH FISH IS A DUMB ASS HERE IS PROOF.

Of course. Havent spoken to you for a while, not sure if I told you Im in Bamber now.  If your dog's a pointing dog, he can take my guy's lead.. that's always good for pups. My poniter just turned three. I hunt our area pretty hard in the fall and try to get in upstate NY too. Here's Gunner on Thanksgiving. Just like fishing, some days are better than others.  He got our limit in 10 minutes.

Awsome looking gsp. I had my boy out on sundays last year to train him and he pointed a good amount of birds.I started taking him out late in the season injan and feb no birds but it was good work for him. I am still a little leary taking him because I had a incadent with my last dog were some jerk offs moved in on his point and flushed the birds before I could get there. He was a english pointer who would range but hold solid on point. After that I never hunted him again. It was a shame because he was a awsome dog. It took alot for me to get another dog after I had him put down at 16 years old, but I am going to give it a go again. I love watching dogs work and I will only go on non stocking days and in the afternoon so as not to run into other people. So far my new boy is working great but he does get a little crazy around other dogs.

Nice pup. I hear you about the crowds. The quail fields are usually a lot less crowded, but the snow problem up at the pheasant farms made them stop stocking the pheasant earlier than usual. This lead to bigger crowds at the quail fields. Hopefully next year will be better. I also know a couple WMAs that see much less traffic than others. Wild grouse in the Adirondacks is an awesome experience. Feel free to shoot me a pm next time you go fishing. I just got back from the flatbrook and it was trickling. Hope we get a good amount of rain with whats coming over the weekend and into next week.
