I have to say, i have no clue what AK is saying about the front picture on my site. How else would the fish be caught? I finally changed it from some spinning reel to something more suited, and to answer a question, i had plans for a brookie but havent done it yet.

Can you describe the "swing it like an emerger" technique? Ive never done this that i know of.

At the end of most of my nymph drifts i will slowly pull them up instead of ripping them out, but i assume you are doing something else.

Thanks for the report, good to know what they are hitting. How were the crowds, i imagine there were quite a few people out. I can only get out on saturday.

Im sorry but I asked a ligitimate FF question, so i have no clue where you are coming from. Also this is a FF board i have never posted anything regarding spin fishing, obviously. Get some new info and dont speak on something you dont know anything about.

Thanks for the info skipper, i guess thats sort of what i do when i nymph sometimes. I know what you mean by its effectiveness, you can pick up fish you wouldnt otherwise.

Rusty - I often tie a combination olive/rootbeer wooly bugger, matching tail and hackle color with different color body. I think the slight contrast helps attrack.

Here's a suggestion - if you don't like spin fishing for trout, don't bother to visit his site. When he posts on NEFF, he only posts about FF. Twism is a stand-up guy and he certainly doesn't need me to fight his battles. If he starts to post about trout magnets on NEFF, go ahead and let him have it...

Just because you don't agree with it and it is legal. If it's not right for you then don't do it. But it still is legal. Sounds like you think you can control what other people are allowed to do. I have no problems with spinning rodders, or bait fisherman to each his own. All this politically correct crap is B.S. When I see guys preforming surgery on a trout to get there treble hooks out of there mouths it kinda pisses me off.

Yea that pisses me off also. But if they want to use spinning gear in the KLG, it deffinately should be with "singe" Barbless hooks only.
