Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

what do you do?

I got a similar offer from Nigeria, Joe, I can't believe there is some other lucky soul besides me moving millions in assets for someone they don't even know. :stupid:

Hello Andy B
Saw you were a bull rider in your younger days, I watch quite a bit on cable tv and follow it a day or two a week. I have a question, how come most rodeo bull riders always seem to speak with a very nasal tone to their voice, I have always noticed that and wondered. Is it the dust, smell or somthing else, not trying to be funny but wonder why.

Wow a bit touchy dont you think Andy? I watch bull riding every so often too and noticed the same thing. It never dawned on me to find out why but figured since we're all gentlemen here what would be the harm of asking?

Andy, I was not tryingt to be funny, disrespectful or anything of the sort, I enjoy watching the sport, know the bulls by name and the riders also, I think these guys are the toughest sportsman anywhere. I was just wondering why it seems to be, aparently someone else noticed the same thing and someone else also brought it to my attention before I noticed it.
If you want to ignore me and think its some kind of an insult, thats your choice.

well guys, I can attest that Andy B does not speak in a nasal tone. So if you're really not trying to be wise-A's perhaps you can contact the rodeo associations out there for assistance.

the only thing I can think of is that you'd speak in a nasal tone too if you got the
snot knocked out of you every day you went to "work" :D

26+ years of railroad track maintenance and inspection. Love the outdoors, but why do the winters seem colder and the summers hotter? I also supplement my income with income tax preparation.

I called the Professional Bull Riders Association and got my answer, its also a question they have been asked before. Thank you Andy B for your nice reply to an honest question.
Tight lines anyway, we all have bad days, I will try not to ask questions in the future without first asking myself, should I, shouldn't I and what if ? That's the end of this subject as far as I am concerned.

I once heard a dancer at Hott22 "queff" out yankee doodle. That also had a nasal tone to it, however I do not believe she ever rode a bull, but hey I may be wrong!

let's see, i'm 33, also an "IT guy" for a big financial institution. work in jersey city, used to work in midtown for a few years. my last job before was for navigation technologies in fort lee, mapping the state of nj. it was then i realized that nj was actually fish-able. finally busted out the ol' fly rod and got down to business.

i'm originally from virginia, went to school at jmu in the shenandoah valley. my first fish on a fly was a native appalachian brookie. moved to jackson hole for a couple years after college, fished the snake, gros ventre, hoback, and yellowstone as much as possible. met a sweet jersey girl out there, and we eventually settled back here. that's my story. :pimp:

I write TV commercials. Mostly for GMC trucks and SUVs - "Professional Grade Engineering"

Not a bad gig. The pay is good, there's no heavy lifting and all the coffee's free. Plus I go to LA a lot for shoots. Funny thing about Southern California - the weather's the same every day. You can fly fish year round.

Been in Pharma for 18 years - everything from R&D to Sales Rep, Training, Brand Managment. Recently left a central Jersey Pharma company to start up my own Medical Communications Agency. Let's hope 2006 is a good year!
