The end of forums like this one?

What has happened on many forums is that the people who knew everything educated those that knew nothing and now everyone knows it all, so there is no longer anything to talk about.

Then the iPhone came along and made texting and pics easy and group messages ended the need for forums to spread the news about which rock in the stream is the best to stand on.

Ah, but this cycle can be reversed if we switch the focus of our fishing to critters like carp. Then we can work together on polluting pristine streams & rivers so more carp habitat is created. Collect old tires, barrels and shopping carts and add them to the stream bed, much like artificial reefs are utilized in the ocean. We only get stale if we choose to, just like the forums. Too much brook trout & bamboo, steelhead, salmon & Spey rods. Time for carp poles, snakehead sticks and oil slick flies.

Also the URL...I tell people about "NEFF...they ask whats the website...I tell them njflyfishing.com...they say JERSEY SUCKS!!

This place is an awesome forum, most taints on automotive forums flip a shit if u ask a question and simply reply "search".

You really don't see that on here. Either guys on neff will bust your balls, turn a post into a thread that is completely irrelevant to the topic and if your lucky, someone will actually provide some great info.
