Anyone got the TFO BVK? i Casted it today and loved it so i made the purchase the rod is a rocket. check it out and cast it or if you had casted it or own it let me know what you think of it.

Fly fishing rod snobs won't purchase a TFO rod. That being said, (WHO THE F CARES!!!) what did you pay for it? I see the TFO BFD blanks sell for about $125, I would consider building one. GIVE US SOME DETAILS......

my buddy got the bvk in a 9 ft 6wt a =nd the thing casts awesome. He also got the bvk reel which is really sweet as well. He did break the rod on the first day but I believe it was a freak accident. A section piece slide up while casting and the other pieces put all their weight on the tip of a section and snap during a cast. And I am not sure if anybody has broke a tfo rod but the inside of this one was a piece of rubber tubing. Never seen that in any of my other rods. TFO is a good company and prices are great. warranty is best one out there. They cut corners somewhere and its most likely in materials but I have owned TFO rods and always loved them. in conclusion. BVK = pretty darn good rod for the money

I just got a 7' 5 wt Lefty Kreh Pro rod haven't tried it yet on the water, soon though. It has a nice action, it will be my
Jersey rod, broke my old Loomis IMX that I loved in my trunk. TFO's seem decent to me, I can't see getting a $700 rod.
