jim a bunch of us were up. next time shoot me a text beforehand. fishing was good however most if not all of the action was had on bugs in lfz. swung altmar to pineville saturday only had one grab.

Saw JC n fished w/Phil Sat. Spent a lot of time in fishless water alone just swinging and getting comfortable w/the new rod. Couldn't get myself to do the LFZ thing this time.

Good weekend. Kids had multiple hook ups n the crowds were nil.

my youngest brought his first to hand which was awesome and my older son was schooled over and over which is is also pretty awesome.

sun morn we parked in the UFZ at dawn and we were THE ONLY CAR THERE! A handful of people eventually showed up but it was nice having all that water to ourselves.

Best weekend ever.

was hooked up non stop from 7-11am Sat. Landed 7 and hooked into God knows how many.

Action cooled, went to lunch and checked some tribs...nada.

Back on the river by 5 and it was even better than the am!! The river had been going up though and the all the fish were in a tough spot with some rippin current to jump in to and wading was gettin sketchy. Only landed one in the evening but the hook ups were non stop.

I think we started the day at 16 or 1800. The res was at capacity and coming over the spill way and at midnight they opened the gates and took it to 2800 . So that was it for the river.

we got up early today at hit the tribs again starting out strong with a two fish outta the first hole but that was it. Some tribs were too low others too high and the fish just weren't there yet.

I'm planning on fishing the Neversink Gorge.... I wanna get up though.
