Lightenup pointed out that access to both parking and for angler access to the South Branch has been eliminated at the existing Hoffman's Crossing Bridge below Califon along River Road (see photo attached). Apparently the owners who live up on route 513 were advised by an attorney they could be sued if anything happens to anyone accessing this unbuildable property in the floodplain, so it is now heavily posted. I have reached out to Raritan Headwaters Association who are now engaged in seeing of they or the Division can use Green Acres funds to purchase this lot to regain critical access since the north end of the Gorge has so little parking and because the bridge is a popular trout stocking area.
