Ran into Golden Beetle Yesterday / Who floated the main yesterday?

I was floating down the mainstem with my dog, Winston and saw the strangest thing. There were quite a few wade fishermen as well as floaters. Matter of fact, a little too many of both and anyone who floated 30 feet in front of me yesterday while fishing the Cemetary pool, FUCK YOU. Learn some etiquette. When someone is casting to rising trout 15 feet in front of them and there is a football field of space behind them, you don't float 30 feet in front of them douche bags, float behind them.

Anyway, GB txt me in the morning and asked if I was floating. I told him I was on my way up. He replied with, "If you're floating the Upper Main, you might run into me at Stockport". That was the last I heard of him until I got into Stockport.

We fished together just downstream of the 191 bridge.

I didn't like the look of things...

But Dluver's assured me that we'd catch fish there.

"Maybe not the biggest fish, but we'll be in to fish all day."

And he wasn't lying...

For your safety please dont swim in the nude. One of those large browns might mistake it for an iso nymph
