Had a great day this past Saturday on the D.
The D is a pretty big area and I don't generally post where I'm fishing on any given day but today I will because I caught an unusual fish in the Stockport area, a brook trout. It's the first one I've ever caught up that far, so where did it come from?

Do they stock these somewhere?
This guy took a size 16 CDC olive and ran upstream with it. I was shocked that the fish was so small because he fought so hard.
Anyway, my first fish was on an articulated streamer. The fish hit it hard and a nice 19" brown was brought to the net.
4pm or so rolls around and some idiot in a camouflage drift boat sneaks in behind me (like 20 feet behind me). I was parked here for the past 2-3 hours, alone. I wouldn't have expected to be sat on top of by a guide but I guess there's an asshole in every crowd.. What a douche. I hold guides to a higher standard that the average schmuck coming down the river, but not this guy, he's right up there with every other schmuck.
I did do something that I NEVER do. Just before this idiot arrived, I put on a prince nymph and caught a nice 14" rainbow who wrapped himself around a thick tree branch in the river. I'm not sure how I was able to maneuver him out of there, guess I got lucky. This brings me to another topic... BOBBERS... Why use a bobber? You need to fish a nymph without the bobber's people... otherwise, you might as well use worms and / or salmon eggs.
I also managed to get a nice sunburn while out there floating without a shirt on... I'm paying dearly for it now!
