You two should feel sorry for me - President's Day is not a holiday (for me) and I have to work. I can't exactly whack my boss over the head with a chair, like Hllywd's rebus (which was very good BTW).

I need to wipe the skunk stink off my clothes from the other day so maybe I'll make up some lame excuse to the family Monday morning about needing to check on the Seber de-watering and none will be the wiser as I leave the house with my waders.

Unfortunately my college doesn't feel it's necessary to give students off on Presidents Day. If my classes didn't end late I would be right there with you folks. Luckily I had my fix this week and got out twice. Hllywd I know exactly where you'll be and Rusty good luck on that research. As for you AK....well like the great Egyptian Pharaoh once said "He who spends more time talking and less time flyfishing has an open mouth and nothing to fill it with, minus his favorite New England microbrew." GET OUT AND FISH!

My Pleasure HLLYWD!!! On the boat situation, I am not sure what's going to happen. They said they are going to call me Monday. I hope I get cell reception while I am out fishing!
That is an easy fix.
We'll set up a phone tree, and take turns calling CT every 15 minutes.
That way we will be sure he is ready to answer the call.

Well CT, Got out and had a nice day. Fished my spot and scouted downstream. I hooked into my only fish in the spot Burt and I found. Nice hole in the middle of nowhere. Fished down to where we did last time. Saw someone else flyfishing under the bridge downstream on Shurts rd.
Water: 36 F, Clear, Moderate Flow 186 CFS
Weather: Sunny, moderate breeze, 33.5 F
Hatch: Tiny Midges
Catch: 15" Rainbow
Successful Fly(s): BHPN 16
Maybe OMC can post my dam pictures.... :crap:

Good to hear that spot produced. I bet it wasn't treacherous wading like when they were releasing from Hopatcong last year. Did you tie that prince you used?

No I didn't tie it still need to learn that one. Not tying much right now. have some personal things to finalize.
Wading wasn't bad at all, was running over the weir nicely would be good summer water. I think they moved out of my spot because of the wells flowing in so cold right there. We need to scout all the way down to and past the bridge below. 2 car day...
Water was a bit colder then I thought with the 4-5 wells kicking in.

Next time, I take off work - yesterday was like torture knowing everyone was out but me. Cabin fever, I guess. I've been luckier than many others and can't complain.
