Don't get discouraged by my two friends. My daughter went through that "pink fly" phase but now ties normal flies and still enjoys fishing with her daddy as well as the great anticipation of hunting with her dad next year when she turns 10. Just expose them to the out of doors as much as you can and someday it will reap its own rewards!

Enjoy her enthuziasim while it lasts.Hopefully when she turns 16 she will still feel the same. I have 4 daughters and have been through the teenage years twice already. I'm trying again with my little ones but I know whats ahead!!!!!!

Pete - she was all over that top one, the pump. Until I explained that pink is not a good color for hunting...

Now she just wants it for "target shooting" and a second one for hunting. Yup, all girl this one. Thinks money grows on trees

My daughter wants the Pink 22 told if she shoots enough she could get it. Start out with a pellet one first.
