Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
its a nice stream, but not much public access. Its also not going to be spoken in detail about on here....better off just going and seeing how it goes on your own, its small water so it'll be easy to find the fish
I fished the north branch for an hour last Sunday night. The river is low and warm. It was 69 degrees at 8:30pm in Far Hills. This is a waste of time.
Does Peapack brook hold its temperature during the summer months?
Peapack Brook is a wild brown TP stream and does have some public access in several locations if you know where to look. Not a top producing WTS, but they are in there nonetheless. The state also stocks it in town near the firehouse, across from the deli near the bridge they just replaced. It flows into the NB below Ravine Lake which is below the TP waters of the NBR.
Peapack Brook has a lot of wild fish, but can get warm in the summer like most NJ streams. Like most wild trout streams fishing when it is low and clear can be tough.

Tie up some pellet flies and head under the bridge on Mosle Road. When the private police show up, jest tell them you're a Kennedy. If you prefer not to use such a liberal name, tell them you're an Onassis. Better yet, get dropped off by someone at night and fish Ninja style. Just not pink-ninja style.
