I was for a number of years, but not this year. It is very simple if your gross income is less than $25,000 - just have to verify that and you have no more to do.

I know there have been some changes recently (last year?) to IRS regs surrounding non profit reporting but I certainly am no authority.

Yup, I believe it's just the "post-card" 990 version for organizations taking in less than 25 "large." Thankfully our treasurer takes of it for us, I see it but I don't worry about it too much.
