the sad old dog with no friends
Hi folks,
I'm another new guy to the site! I live and fish mainly in sussex county, and have been fishing with the fly for four years now. I catch fish but I would like to become a more proficient fly fisherman, as well as move into fly tying this winter. I have the misfortune of being partially laid off right now so I made my first trip to the KLG on Thursday. I caught one fish on my second cast.... a beautiful 6 inch native brown... used an 18 prince with a 22 brassie dropper...and then nothing for the rest of the day. So this brings me to my statement about becoming a more proficient fly fisherman; I know there were fish in every hole that I hit....I saw em, but couldn't catch em! So I am looking forward to gaining insight from all of you, and possibly getting to fish with you as well!
