NEFF Wiki pages...

Here's the deal... There are so many topics related to fly fishing. Many things things often get repeated. "Where is the KLG located" etc... If we had a Wiki page on here, we would need people to keep it updated.

I hate when someone asks a question and someone replies with, "Did you google search it"... or something like that. The purpose of this site is to ask questions and get answers. It's possible the person did google their question and one of the google links brought them here but they couldn't find the exact answer to their question. I think the Wiki page would actually help in this situation because then instead of searching around, we can point them directly to our wiki page. Our wiki pages would have a place for a comment section, pictures, maps, etc...

I think having a WIKI page here would be good but would it be used?

Just a thought.

IMHO: It probably wouldn't get used any more than our "Fly Tying Database".
A lot of excellent fly patterns get lost in the archives, because the author posts in the forums, but doesn't follow-up, by putting it in the database.

i would definatly use a wiki page its tough to find what your looking for just like the fly tying data base if you didnt stumble on it you wouldnt know that it was there i think if every once in a while there was a neff news letter or something of the sort to highlight the changes and improvements of the website
