Magalloway Dreaming

Can you picture the Magalloway flowing under the bridge that crosses rt16 in Maine, fall colors, and a streamer trying to seduce a salmon.

Do you catch a lot of LL salmon on pink colors in the fall? I've always had luck with any orange colored fly and all black too. If so, I had better spin up a few pink ones too...

GH, the colors of that fly are red and white, the photo is not clear. When I fish in the Fall the colors that produce for me are reds, yellows, and orange. Mostly in attractor patterns. The few smelt patterns I fish are 9/3, and the Supervisor. Who tied the streamer in your avatar, and whats the name. Nice fly. BRK TRT.

I tied it, do you think I would showcase someone else's?

It's a black and white streamer and the pattern is in Stewart & Leeman. The hard part was stripping the barbs off the quill of the black hackle.

Red and white makes sense, I thought it was pink...sorry
