Klg x-mas day fishing

Those of you who do it big the night before and have little obligation on Christmas Day, me, my dad, and Sh4ne87 will be fishing the gorge. Probably going to hit up an open Diner on the way down for eats.

Going to be there sparrow fart and stay till 10/11.

Well there is something I haven't told you......

Merry Christmas fro Blacksburg VA. I have been here since Thanksgiving.

My wife and I received a call on Thanksgiving morning that her 90 year old father was in intensive care and had a 20 % chance of survival. We left for VA around 6PM and we drove the 470 miles down to Blacksburg in a snowstorm that begun south of Harrisburg. What should have taken 6.5 hours one way became 10. We got to the hospital around 8:30 the next morning. We found out that that he had fallen in his townhouse and had 8 broken ribs 4 that had multiple fractures. He also had 2 fractured vertebra in his back. He was in rough shape . We were not optimistic and preparing for the worst. We did get him into rehab after a week.
He is slowly getting better and in the past 2 weeks has made significant improvement and is walking with some help. Surviving those injuries at 90 is the definition of tough. I Do not know how long my wife and I will be down here. If we are not on top of his care everyday. The incompetence that plagues the medical industry shines brighter then the sun.

I fished today 12/26/14 and it was pretty slow. Hooked one larger fish but lost it. I went from eggs, to PT's, to midges all in the same runs with no luck. Saw a few fish taken but not many.

Hi Guys!!!

Fishing was slow, but Shane and I managed to sting a few. Water was on its way down, murky and about 42 degrees. Should be fishing PERFECT right now.
