Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

How would you fish this spot #2

There was a reason I picked this photo.

Sometimes on streams like SBR and KLG that see heavy amount of fishing pressure you have to try areas that don't look all that great, and may not be easy to fish.

I fish another area above the Gorge that I have yet to see anyone fish it, I go in there and the fish are small but very agressive. Am I a better fisherman than most, no I think not, but I do like to go and fish places that don't look all that great either.

You heard it here folks. AK more or less announcing his usage of powerbait and angleworms, in a red coffee can.

Thanks for the tip on fishing tough water AK, good call.

I would NOT fish this spot. See the angler upstream? He's either been through the water or he's coming downstream and has a right to the water already.

Turn around, go back to the care and find another spot.

Fred one might think that.

But the guy up stream was a JUMPER!!!....

He didn't last long if I remember correctly.

Buy time I reached that spot he was gone and the water was well rested.

But you did make a very good point.

Yes... was a gentle reminder... the intended purpose of these posts is great. I would zib zag up the water hitting every seam AND every little hole or depression in the bottom of the stream. It's amazing the number and size of fish that hold in water such as this and the number of flisherman that pass this water up for the deeper pools.
