How about an informal club starts on it's own and take it from there. This club could be roving meaning that once a month meet a some one elses house to tye on a Saturday or Sunday. If it grows large enough then maybe find a Saturday or Sunday Permanent home for it. Just an idea.

Lets start the tying Club for the 4rth Saturday of the month starting in October. I picked this date due to I will be away in September down in Fla on vacation and My daughters wedding is the weekend of October 10th. Now do you want the first gathering at my house in South Jersey or your house in Lopatcong. I will ask you if you don't mind for the first gathering to spread the word and see how many people would attend. Open it to all. We should have every one kick a few dollars in and have lunch ordered and delivered. I am game to host this at my house October or November. I thought the roving part would be cool because you could see how other tyers have thier tying rooms or spaces set up. If this takes off then we would eventually have to look for a permanent meeting home for once a month for the 4rth Saturday or Sunday of the month, this is long term thinking. This should be fun first and also a place for guys to see different tyings and to help them with thier tying and also for beginners to get some good pointers and lessons. Just thinking out loud. Let me know your thoughts on this. E-mail me and lets discuss further.

P.S. I was thinking a weekend because you could tye for a bunch of hours instead of week night where you have to drive, tye for just a little bit, and then worry about getting home so you can get to bed on time and be ready for work the next day.

Yes, please get the ball rolling. Let's limit it to six tyers not including me. I feel I can accomondate about six tyers with my folding tables and chairs.
