Fished a little PA creek this afternoon. First time out in a while

I was invited to fish some private water with my uncle this afternoon so I took him up on it. It was a bit of a hike but well worth the trip.

The place was locked down like Fort Nox. Passcodes to get in, unlock gate A, drive a bit more, unlock gate B.. incredible what they do to keep the place pristine.

Along the way, he showed me around. The fall colors and blue skies were great.



After checking out the lake, we rode around looking for some water to fish. One place we visited was a bit like the Little Lehigh but without the pressure and we had the entire river to ourselves. We didn't see 1 person all day. The fish were plentiful and we had our share of both stocked and wild trout.



For the first time in many years, I took out the bamboo rod and an old Hardy reel.



I can't remember the last time I fished such a small stream like this. If I had to describe it, I'd say it most closely resembles Van Campens Brk.

Try not to get dizzy looking at this one.



All in all, a great day to be out on the river.

All fish were caught and released with my branding on them. You'll never see them though because you're not good enough. If you do happen to snag one, please post a pic.

I fished at a place known to host kings. Like the king of NEFF. Now unless you were the servant there too, you wouldn't know.

You've fished this? How long have you been a member? You might know my uncle, he's been a member for 10yrs or so.

I really don't fish small streams so when asked, I was a bit hesitant but happy I went. It was nice to get some action on the bamboo rod. Had a lot of fun with it.
