First trip to Allegheny National Forest

I'm going on a family trip to a cabin outside of ludlow next week. I'm new to fly fishing and still have a lot to learn. So, any tips on what streams I should focus on this time of year would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows of good fly shops in the area I'd appreciate that too.
