You need to determine what towing class your vehicle falls under (what amount of weight it can tow). Are you going to tow it with that Acura or did you upgrade to something bigger? I used to tow my boat with my Honda Civic with a Class I hitch and had no problems, as my boat and trailer fell into the weight class my car could tow.
So first find out what the boat and trailer weighs, plus the tongue weight of the trailer to make sure your car can tow it. The trailer weight and tongue weight should be written right on the trailer tongue. You can get the boat weight from Clackacraft. Then, through your vehicle specs, find out what class hitch you need. The ball is a removeable component and you buy that in the right size for the trailer. Once you have that info, start shopping for a hitch. I ordered mine from JCWhitney and installed it myself, but you can have it professionally installed by your mechanic.
