Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Do the colors on this site bother you?

If the colors on this site bother you, they can easily be changed.

There are two ways to do it and both are explained with the attached image. Click on the image to enlarge.

Click this link and scroll down to the very bottom. Search for the Miscellaneous Options section header. Follow the simple instructions documented in the picture. There are 5 or six different configurations you can choose from. If the current one is not for you, try one of the others.

I like the black and white. When Justin first did it to TPO I must admit that I hated it. However, after a short time I came to like it more. It's more aggressive, which I think is good.

They made my eyes tire pretty easily. I'm 56 and the dark background didn't work for me. Thanks so much for the showing me how to make the change. Of course color is a minor matter. I really like so many features on this site, even though it's been awhile since I've posted. The bug photography is an excellent resource for aid in identifying bugs and on what other site can you get sports scores up to the minute.
Thanks,
Bruce

Dennis,

Thanks for pointing that out. The "robotic-orange" or the "gorilla" worked best my aging eyeballs.

BTW, Nice job on the makeover!

thank you for the options I much prefer the older version. I find I am on the site late night and my eyes are already tired.

Here is some info I found on the web:
Dr. Sheedy also recommends black text on a white background as the best color combination for your eyes; other high-contrast, dark-on-light combinations also are acceptable.

my $.02

WAITER. there is a fly on my page.

In case you don't get it just a take on an old joke "waiter there is a fly in my soup"

I'm good with the color scheme. As long as it isn't really bright and has good contrast between text and background I can get along with it
