Me and a buddy went up to the Catskills for a weekend camped and fished met a few new people and made new friends. The trip was awesome Friday was the best day out of the three. We fished the upper west branch durring the morning did ok. I caught my biggest brown ever on size 18 brown caddis. In the afternoon we went up to the eastbranch but i didnt like the frog water very nice to see tho. There was few bugs Hatching but no risers with in wading and casting distance. For the spinner fall we hit the Main we saw few March browns around and some fish rising. On the four cast a fish boiled on my March brown a nice rainbow. Later we saw some sulphurs and March Brown Spinners and I must say it was some amazing fun fishing. Sat morning we headed back to Upper West but no bug, there was no wind and over cast day and no bugs strange and upsetting. We bagged it and went to make some dinner over the campfire. After dinner hit the lower east had some action but not many bugs. After hooking in to a big rainbow and loosing it with in a few feet of me I called it a nite. Sunday we hit the lower main and again same forecast and no bugs. Hooked one and missed 3 on wetflies my buddy got a nice shad on a stone. So that it was great time and great memories here are some pics for you guys.DSC02377.jpgIMAG0910.jpgIMAG0909.jpgIMAG0908.jpgIMAG0905.jpgIMAG0904.jpgIMAG0902.jpgIMAG0901.jpgIMAG0900.jpgIMAG0897.jpgDSC02386.jpgDSC02383.jpgDSC02382.jpgDSC02381.jpgDSC02380.jpgDSC02379.jpgmain stem may 182013.jpg

Nice pics. Would have liked to meet up with guys, especially since you live down the road from me, but it seemed we had some different rivers in our agendas. Always next time.
