Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Beaverkill UP 7 feet in last 24 hours

Yup just saw that it hit almost 10,000 CFS and peaked above flood stage. Thats a S$%T load of H2O!!

They must have gotten tons of H2o since yesterday around 11:00am. While driving home, the river looked to be somewhat low.

BTW: The link above doesn't work.

Tell me about it.................damm..............i just had a years worth of work in Stewart Brook, WIPED OUT! It isn't the first time that has happened to me though. I'll just have to start over "again." The mini flood also left me a little present. A huge tree stuck right in the mouth of the brook where it hits the Willow. It's a real blessing for us to have water on two sides and have both the brook and river for two of our property lines, but it's also a curse sometimes because i have this need to work on them so much and try to make them the best i can. Sometimes i wonder if i shouldn't just let nature take it's course and leave well enough alone.............then of course........i remember what Charlie Fox did down in Penn. and how he helped make his home river so much better. And of course it's the old "if i don't, who will" syndrome. I bust my ass in the brook and river all damm year and loose a ton of fishing time only to see nature wipe it out. Well........i guess sooner or later i'll just get to old or to tired to keep at it, but until then, somebody does have to try and make a difference. Anyone got a chain saw with a BIG blade on it? m.j.romero(willowhead) www.JazzMarkGallery.com
