Any guides want some photos?

Picture-Taker // Fish Scare-er
I've shot mostly food for my photography career but I'm looking to spend less time in the city, and more time in the woods. I'm looking to see if a guide or two has any interest in hitting the water with me in tow. I'll give you all the photos to use for your site/advertising/personal use. I just need to get some solid shots to build out a promo book with.

I may take you up on your offer.

I'm not a guide, but I will pose nude.. For the right price that is.

I think Trout Nazi may be interested also. Some professional photos could really help him breakthrough since he's guiding now too.

All it takes is for one other person to say it, and its true. I am, indeed an official guide now. And thanks to this post, I have actually (I really have) booked my first client, or sport as its known in the "business". You've all been warned, theres a new game in town now.

Just a few questions...
1. Do you have a portfolio we can look at?
2. Do you fish?
3. I need some proof that I'm actually floating down the D on Saturdays. Having you come and take pictures of me would be great.
4. We could sell the photo's of me for a good profit.

So... You're in then?

1.) personal and editorial work at http://mtthwnvk.com and http://themattnovak.tumblr.com wedding work at http://tinsparrowstudio.com

2.) poorly, but yes.

3.) you catch fish I'll give you proof :D

4.) I'm a decent photographer, terrible salesman. If we make good images and you have an outlet to show/sell them to benefit the local waterways and/or the orgs that support them I'd donate prints.

Be prepared to take big-fish pictures only, because that is how I roll.

Also, I'm accepting sponsorships for the one-bug. Now is your chance to sponsor the winning boat, because I only roll with big fish, get your name up in the bright lights. I don't fish for minnows when there are sharks to be had.

Just make sure you have a 17mm wide angle in your bag for TN so that his fish look like big-fish pictures. Better also get the pose with the arms holding the fish outstretched toward the camera. :bigfish:

Such trickery is not necessary my friend, not necessary at all. The pictures from my kick-off trip in April will not require noob tactics.

We will require non-photoshopped pictures of said trip posted here on NEFF.
Noob tactics? Hell, I see even the most noted anglers pushing that fish way out to the camera. Remember how GB held out that huge pike he caught on the Passaic?

Just for you, I'm gonna hold the fish away from the camera. As far behind me as possible. I'm not concerned, because they'll still look huge. I'm anticipating that you'll want to book a float with me after you see this, but understand, April through early June is filling up quick. This guide thing is gaining its own momentum, growing out of control at this point.

TN, Where will you be guiding? NY or NJ?

Guide Nazi Guide Service will be guiding in NJ and NY. It has recently come to my attention that there is a shortage of guides on the Upper Delaware, so that will also be part of my territory. I'll be tying some guide flies tonight in preparation and celebration for upcoming season.

I mean, such transcendent guiding can't be limited, or bound for that matter, by local, state or national boundaries!

The boundaries are all in your brain. Right now, I'm fishing in New Zealand. I expect all of my clients to fishing in their minds before we even get wet. For example, if we're floating Balls to Buck, I expect you to be at Bard by the time we meet at the ramp.
