A little blue fish action

Was out of the Shrewsbury Rocks last week with few friends We were looking for some albie action but they didn't show up. We did run into some big 12-17lb blues. A friend took the video of me hooking into a 15lb fish. It destroyed by crease fly

Allen - were you two out last Saturday? The other guy in an orange or reddish 'yak? If so, Kindanewbie and I were on the False Hook watching two guys in yaks come out to the rips and then turn around a short time later because there was no action. Looked like they headed back toward the Coast Guard station and back around the true Hook. Both foot paddle yaks and both had orange flags up for safety. I know you frequent that area

I was out but not off the hook. Albie action of Monmouth Beach. I got 3 albies and a bonito. Over 20 caught between the group and we left them biting when the stinkpots started to drive all over us.

I gotta find time later this week. Between my schedule and the wind/weather/tides I never seem to get it right but I know we still have some time for the Albies. I'm working both days this weekend so I can take two other days off (yeah, right - like that's going to happen) plus I have off on Monday for Columbus Day. C'mon north or NW winds No heavy blows out of the south, please!
