My trip began with the catch and release of the legendary King Salmon.On the fly.I managed 6 Kings in total.And with the legendary King out of the way, it was time for Beetle to focus on other quarry.The elusive sockeye and the endangered bull trout are on the species list of every serious angler who makes the journey to British Columbia. And so, as a matter of course, the great fishermen of the world have these fish on their resume.And Beetle is not just fly fishing's #1 celebrity...Beetle is also one of the world's greatest anglers.Before I post my pictures, I want to address the controversy surrounding the methods thatI may or may not have employed in the capture of the legendary King Salmon that I posted earlier in the week.I won't give any credibility to the accusations by responding, other than to say that my Kings were all landed on the fly.And, it follows that BEETLE is the only fly fisherman on NEFF to have landed a wild King Salmon on the fly.All of the Kings I fought were like determined blood hounds on the scent of the red fox... And powerful as the pit bull terrier that tears through your sweaty ball sack on a hot summer day in Newark.I landed them all on 10 weight rigs.And there can be no questioning the legitimacy of my catch.For Beetle has posted the photos.That prove.The King Salmon has been conquered.More pics will be posted shortly to this thread.

Before I post my pics, I want to talk for a moment about the fair chase rules that I hold myself to when I'm in pursuit of salmon and trout abroad.I consider myself an heir to the legacies of Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett. And a representative of the Boone and Crockett ethics that defines good American sportsmanship going back nearly 200 years.All fish that your beady little eyes will behold shortly (I will post pics right here, exclusively to NEFF) were caught on the fly. All fish caught were released unharmed. And the Beetle Brand has officially planted its flag in British Columbia.And let there be no doubt... The Canadians welcomed me, treated me with respect, which was refreshing, not only because it is deserved, but because I've become accustomed to mistreatment online and heckling from the American public at fly shows and other public fishing-related events...

On Tuesday I fished the Upper Pitt River.
The Pitt is a beautiful glacier fed river that runs at about 39 degrees F.
I managed several sockeyes and bull trout, a few dolly varden, and a small cutt (that I failed to land at the end of the day).
If anyone has questions about this fishery, and is serious about making a trip to British Columbia, I will respond to your questions via pm.
