Winter fishing on thr Big Flat Brook

I was wondering if anyone knows if fishing the Big Flat Brook near the Delaware is any good in the late fall/ winter. I figured there has to be some big Delaware Browns and Bows that come to spawn in the river. I do alot of centerpin and fly fishing throughout NY for steelhead but i want to get out in NJ when i dont have the time to take the trip to NY.

Anyone have any insight for me?

Flat Brook holds fish all winter, but I prefer to fish in the streams further south since the water stays a little warmer - especially those with some limestone influence like the Muskie, SBR, Pequest, Pohat etc. Wild trout streams are also a good bet in the winter since those little wild guys seem to adapt to harsh conditions better.

Never heard of any big Delaware fish being caught in the Flat Brook, but don't see why not. All the Delaware tribs I am familiar with get some monsters come up in the fall/winter so I don't see why the Flat Brook woudn't.
